All Clowns, No Ringmasters

The GOP search for a new Speaker of the House is quite the circus--but it looks like it's all clowns and no Ringmaster. Harriet Hageman seems to think she is a rodeo clown and brought a lariat to signify this is not her first rodeo. Nancy Mace wore a scarlet A which stands for "adultery" because she helped cuck McCarthy for Jim Jordan, who Trump endorsed and who--didn't get the most votes in the GOP conference about that. She said she supported Jim Jordan because...you know, I don't care what Nancy Mace says is the reason for anything she does?

Oh, and George Santos was hit with a superseding indictment for credit card fraud and identity theft. And because Steve Scalise wouldn't answer him on the vital issue of whether he'd be spared from an expulsion attempt from his NY delegation, he's now a "bigly" anti-Scalise guy. Nice. He's got big and bronzed ones, for sure.

They didn't vote today because their guy--Steve Scalise, doesn't have the votes. Some people still want Jim Jordan--Marjorie Taylor Greene says Scalise is too full of cancer to serve, which is also nice. Seems like discrimination. Nancy Mace still insists she want Jim Jordan because he supports her pet cause of helping rape victims. (Or because Trump says, or because it gets her the most "a" for "attention". Like I said, I don't care what she says.)

It's a wild world we're living in when Tea party guy Rep. Ken Buck sounds like the most reasonable person about both of these delusional fakes: if they can't either of them show the guts to admit Joe Biden won the election, can either of them be trusted at all?

These just aren't serious people, for the most part. Derrick Van Orden, last seen cussing out congressional pages for, I think, existing, got pissy at a briefing on the Hamas attacks on Israel because they couldn't pin the blame on Iran. And he really wanted them to!

They've been doing this bit too long to still be funny, but it's clear these people are clowns. They can't find a ringmaster because their party doesn't make serious people anymore.

And who knows when their shit will even be together enough to pull together the votes, based on the McCarthy umpteen tries.

You know, a handful of moderate GOP folks (I don't know what that means, but supposedly it's a thing) with nothing to loose could vote for Hakeem Jeffries. He's an adult who can take the wheel without too much swerve. Somebody in the clown car should give that a lot of thought, because maybe the world has too much real shit going on for constant clowning.
