Blowups Happen

The father of Grok, the possible DD Harriman wannabe, Elon Musk, has demonstrated his exceptional qualities as a businessman and leading light of tech industry by once again littering the sky with a "rapid unscheduled disassembly.". This comes a minute (more or less) after Trump explained to his cabinet and the world that maybe DOGE/Musk don't have the ultimate say in who gets fired--the cabinet heads do, as they should.

DOGE has been prone to mistakes--like gutting nuclear safety.  Like using random keywords to delete programs and contracts because they don't understand sometimes words have two meanings. (Little bitches too young to know from "Stairway to Heaven", even. What even is "Enola Gay"?.)

Admittedly, this is the same day that Trump played the Hokey-Pokey with the Mexico/Canada tariffs again--is his right foot in, or is it out? Has he tried shaking it all about?

So what's up and what's odd with that? Oh, nothing. but the FAA having to shut down flights at airports in the Southern Florida area because Musk "made it rain."

I can't be the only person whose brain does musical vignettes

I was going to sell electric cars, then I got high.

I was going to go to Mars, then I got high.

Now my spaceships and stocks are tanking,

and I know why! Hey hey,

Because I got high,

because I got high,

because I got high.

I am not saying more shit than I need to. It's like the whole fucking QED--is this the guy who is going to rescue the potential lovers lost from the space station, as Trump rhapsodized?

I sure on God hope not. And what the hell is wrong with Trump's brain he's trying to ship astronauts like this is a tv show?  Reality tv brain is real and the person some other folks and not me made president thought this would be okay.

We are waiting on a disaster and it's because people well and truly voted for one. And Elon Musk and his technological shenanigans is seriously only ONE of the ways we get to GAME OVER with this dopey-ass administration.

But it is also sort of not great for humanity.

I understand some people are adamant that they were right to vote for Trump because they hate the status quo. I read an article on Politico regarding JD Vance hating the whole post-WWII rules-based world order. Which is so obviously great going for John Foster Dull-Ass, but does he understand how we got here and that stepping back from the rules-based world order means EVERYONE ELSE ACTUALLY AGREEING WITH YOU WHICH WE KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE THEY WON'T?

You can't just be playing by yourself for that to work. He might be playing by himself too much to get that.

Did you know--I mean really understand? People in the past did things because they thought they were right and also studied on them?  I mean, there's only a couple of ways to fix anything, and literally thousands of ways to get everything wrong, especially if you start off with a very poor background in what you are doing. The status quo might just have been the least of a series of terribles.

Anyway, I want you to know I am not rooting for everything to be fucked up. I am just expecting it to be because these are not the right people for anything like the job requirements I see in the world.

Sorry about your rocket, Astroboy.. Please try not to Kessler syndrome our asses now that you know France and them can also too do something like a Starlinks. THEN we never would get to Mars.

The FAA having to halt flights, though, because of SpaceX's fail, when Musk has used his DOGE to make a case for his taking over the FAA contract from Verizon--even though some people might question whether Starlink has the range, is like an allegory. Is it a real thing

You know--I would just like competency in government. Nothing fancy. And I think we are not getting that. The bare minimum is preventing "blowups."  I feel like we are in "hunkering for the blow-up mode" all the time.
