The Things They Say

(This post been busted--here's a link adjacent as fuck.) I should have saved the image.

The same kind of people who think Kamala Harris never saluted also are mad Barack Obama saluted once with a coffee cup or wore a tan suit that one time.  The same kind of people will boldly assert she doesn't know where Arlington Cemetery is, when she knows the route. Someone like Senator Tom Cotton, who wrote a book about Arlington, can say with some confidence that Biden and Harris should have attended an event to which they were not invited on his weekly Sunday chat shot hit. (Yes, weekly, and why? Do people want to see this mook?) He says it with confidence not because it's true, but because he doesn't expect to be thrown out on his ear.

This is the guy who wrote the letter ages ago that recommended we back out of the JCPOA, and it was literally one of the dumbest foreign policy decisions ever. He's an open partisan whose opinions aren't to be trusted--ergo, he's on tv every week.

Apparently, the media just exists to air opinions without context.

Donald Trump is still mad Hillary Clinton melted her phones in bleach, which is like an acid. He said this when being fellated by toothless Mark Levin during a Fox News interview.

He's had many years to realize that phones were not acid-washed like a pair of jeans in the 1990's.  As with his notion of tariffs being paid by some other country, he has a peculiar idea in his head that cannot be dislodged. There was no pushback on his stupidity here but nor would there be anywhere else. Except the blogosphere.

It would be GREEEEAAAAT if the media noticed that in addition to being a basically bad person Trump is also fairly dumb. He stupidity matters.

I really just want us to live in a world where, if someone says with a straight damn face, that they think Trump is patriotic because he hugged a flagpole, some goddamn person tells them to their face they are a goddamn mark. And if someone insinuates a sudden non-event is something the current White House had to be present for, we slap whatever little taste they have out of their mouths.

Sometimes the discourse feels so tiring.

When I was in the military, I was given to understand that you must not salute while wearing civilian clothing. Also, civilians do not salute or get saluted.

I suppose the President is an exception because Commander in Chief, which I think began with a recent President - I think it was Reagan because Reagan was to ignorant to know better.

I fvcking hate that saluting crap. Especially since Ronnie Raygun started it but what I love is taking back patriotism and freedom from the treasonous Republicans.
