The former president and presumptive Republican nominee referred to Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson, who was the White House physician for part of his presidency, as “Ronny Johnson.” The moment came as Trump was questioning Biden’s mental acuity, something he often does on the campaign trail and social media.
“He doesn’t even know what the word ‘inflation’ means. I think he should take a cognitive test like I did,” the former president said of Biden during a speech at a convention of Turning Point Action in Detroit.
Seconds later, he continued, “Doc Ronny Johnson. Does everyone know Ronny Johnson, congressman from Texas? He was the White House doctor, and he said I was the healthiest president, he feels, in history, so I liked him very much indeed immediately.”This isn't like "Tim Apple." This is more like his conflation of Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi--these are people he knows, and their names escape him. But he made another gaffe along the same lines yesterday, failing to recognize the man he was just introduced to and was speaking about.
This has not been a good week for news about Trump's brain. He met with Tim Apple (I mean Cook...goddamn it...) and other CEO's looking for their support in the election, but they came away surprised by his rambling and incoherence. And what do we make of his trashing of Milwaukee, which he now wants to walk back? (Does he not remember what he said?)
Odd Job Steven Cheung defended him for saying it, too? I mean really, though, why would Trump say a terrible thing?
Because he says terrible stupid, things all the time. He gave an interview where he implied Brittney Griner should still be prisoner in Russia.
And after his spokesperson,Trump: They lie and they make up a story that I said something bad about Milwaukee. And I just ask you this, who would do that? Who would say something bad about a place that you want to win? You want to win over? pic.twitter.com/vMiQCK9uAb

It's horrible, and shouldn't win him any votes, and also, he seems to be confusing the detail of her prisoner swap with a different one, because he isn't just a monster, he's a monster with a broken brain. He acts like another US prisoner in Russia, Evan Gershkovich, is a bargaining chip for Trump's own presidency.
The worst parts of Trump aren't the senility talking. His gaffes look bad because they are bad, but never forget, he was never a good person, and he is surrounded by liars who will prop this very sick bad person up for power and influence. You don't need to be a doctor to diagnose the problem with that.
