With respect to our neighbors to the north, my god. I am just so embarrassed and sorry about this delusional halfwit. I knew he was a halfwit, but he managed to keep the worst of it under his MAGA hat for the benefit of his true-believers. I hope they understand how extremely messed up this crap is now, though.

And if they don't, well, I guess I am sorry for them, too. Because that is just one hell of a low and dangerous level of stupid. 

Today. Trump made comments that NATO needs to help with the US acquiring Greenland, which is not going to happen and is profoundly ignorant, as well as having congratulated himself for filling Lake Tulare with reservoir water intended for future irrigation and fire-fighting. He describes this as "invading LA" which is not even remotely a description of how any of this profoundly stupid and useless event occurred. 

Comments by Trump and his cabinet suggest that his intentions with respects to Canada and Greenland are real, and also folks are charged with drafting a Panama Canal strategy. 

All of this is certifiably insane. There is no reason that anyone should be going along with any of this. This man should be declared completely incompetent and not be allowed to drive his own golf cart, let alone a Tesla. His brain is clearly goo. Getting sense from him is like carving melted butter. He literally sat in the White House and answered questions, but talked about things so batshit that we should seriously be talking about why his skull isn't being mined for phosphates. 

The stock market is tanking because of his hokey-pokey tariff threats (we are all apparently, now in dangerous peril of sobriety, based on the last missives from his dying brain). 

People are going along with Daddy Trump like little fiendish family members fixing to get read out in the will. It's like some form of proximally acquired madness. 

But if you listen closely, it's not even that he is , as they say "crazy like a fox." Actually, he's just really, really, madly out of touch with how anything works. I refer, not for the first time. to Greenland's US military base. ANd that he thinks it would be great to take on NATO. And that he thinks Canadians and Greenlanders want any part of the country he is rapidly fucking up beyond all recognition. 

He has intentionally surrounded himself with whipped puppies, scoundrels and grasping dipshits. They mean to follow him to hell because there is nothing better for them in this life.

I truly don't think that should be true for the rest of us , though--say "No" to everything Trump, aux barricades and so on

If Dems need a plausible strategy, it is to resist everything, obstruct everything, throw every wrench and every boot. Be seen doing it and clearly tell why. 

This man is crazy. We also are crazy if we do not struggle every step of the way, like Jacob wrestling his angel. It is the only way to be seen doing the necessary work.
