Trump has proposed that Zelenskyy is somehow the reason, being elected to the presidency of Ukraine in 2019, for the invasion that started in 2014 and which his own good buddy Manafort knows a whole lot about. (I get why Trump faithful try to step around all that. It's messy for them, no?)

We are aligned with a third world country (1 in 5 households in Russia has no toilets) with nukes that has donkeys on the front line and had to go beg Iran and North Korea for arms and troops. The belly-crawling lowness of accepting this position. Because dipshits like Trump and Vance think they somehow have the upper hand. And can't figure out what the US can do about anything.
Because they don't actually root for us or our values. And actually are undermining us.
No one who actually loves America would have wanted us here. Iran. North Korea, and Russia--what are we to them? The enemy! Why side with them? How fucking stupid! And FWIW--our propaganda on the right is following stupid RU-cooked fetishes. Anti-vax. Anti-gay rights.
So how is Trump's follies with respects to engorging himself on RU prop and appointing shills and drones who don't understand the threat affecting us?
We are halting cyber operations against us from Russia, and probably still letting them probe our soft targets, because TrumpWorld is very dumb like that. I will bever forget when Trump in his first term proposed working with Russia on "The Cyber". Pam Bondi got rid of the foreign influence unit in DOJ. I guess for some reason we are pro-foreign influence now.
IMHO--all of this is already impeachable. Because we already know Russia is always about to have a go at us.
I am mad at all GOP people who have the wherewithal to know better, who are trusting this shit won't end in tears for the sake of their ambition. Maybe it isn't your life on the line, but it's some one's. USAID personnel have had very close calls out there because of the Trump Admin's recklessness. I am still saying we have the makings of a Benghazi or worse out here.
Worse. Please consider why so many personnel with all their experience have gone down the tubes--is that protecting the US?

And of course Russia and China might want to recruit intelligence service people and others recently let go. How does anyone think any of this works? We are in danger as much from ignorance and cowardice as from bias. But the biggest lie of all is that we can work with Putin--no.
