Cowardice Chasing Stupidity

Welcome to a stupid enterprise--emissaries from the Trump Administration appearing in Riyadh ready to deal away things they have no control over to appease Russians who our best intelligence indicates have no intention whatsoever to end the war in Ukraine.  They sat there and discussed what we were willing to stipulate without Europe or (and ESPECIALLY) Ukraine there, like their input would not matter. 

Because what the hell is the country that was actually invaded even doing in the picture, right? Let alone our NATO partners, huh? Like, what ABOUT Poland?

The picture above is a portrait of "cowardice chasing stupidity". Collectively, they might know what they are doing has no fucking chance in the world of leading to anything productive because of course not--but they are all dancing to Trump's incredibly foolish tune. 

It helps to remind us of who Trump is. He's a little man with little man syndrome. He wants to be seen as parallel with people he sees as "real men" like Putin because he doesn't know what a real man is. The United States of America, the full package, is a great nation with a brilliant military history and we used to be a little something called the "Leader of the Free World." We stood up against totalitarianism. We supported democracy and freedom--I guess 

Trump doesn't pretend he understands any of that. If you want to get his attention, you have to jingle some car keys at him like he's a toddler, or at least promise him rare earth minerals, even if he doesn't know what they are--but his buddy Elon does. Abstract stuff like "freedom" or "national security" or "stopping fucking genocides of human beings with mass graves and assorted traumas of families and extended terror" means exactly zero shit to this guy. You could describe Ukrainian history from Holodomor to Bucha to him and he would still say the asshole, ahistorical, absurd, obscene, Putinist propaganda he said today--

Because he is feeling very bitchy about having promised he could end the war with one phone call even before taking office and it didn't happen. He said he would free Evan Gershkovich because Biden couldn't earlier last year--but Biden did. 

Trump talks really big because he thinks it makes him look big, but then he has to fucking fill the empty space between his mouth and reality. Last week, he said if Hamas didn't release all the hostages, all hell would break loose. It meant literally nothing. Trump's big fat dumb mouth promised he would end the war. but he can't have people like Zelenskyy (who actually is smart and has physical courage) or any representative from Europe there. He can't do anything but golf and run his mouth. Mexico never pays for any fucking wall. His mouth has us invading Canada, Greenland and maybe Denmark. Oh and definitely Mexico to contain the cartels and maybe add Baja California. Because making Gulf of Mexico into the Gulf of America may be little man shit (so much so he is banning Associated Press for not pretending he made boom boom in the big boy toilet with that one), but he can get littler. Just you watch. 

The man is a fucking idiot. 

Trump can't prevent brave Ukrainians from fighting for their sovereignty and freedoms. He is actually completely irrelevant to the equation. Europe will just have to figure out how to make up the difference entirely without relying on his stupid ass, because he X'd himself out of the equation.  

Somewhere behind the faces of the above human shells who have sold their souls is the barest inkling that they are pandering to a war criminal on behalf of a dimwit to accomplish nothing, only to see more death, but this time, with more humiliation for OUR country. 

And I guess they are calling it "America First." 

Because wouldn't they be? 

To the people above: The dishonor is yours, guys, Some folks would choose death first, but we all know cowardice is like a kind of death. Some might even take the gentler path and resign from outrage. But you knew this would be the arrangement. So how are you living with yourselves and do you like the view? 

Me, I could never deal with so much of Trump's whole dumb ass in my face like this. Not when lives were at stake. Not when it meant being complicit with a great evil, and the potential closing of an iron curtain across some part of Europe. 

You absolute kneewalkers. You ghosts. You have died inside and don't even recognize it. I hate to say it, but unalive is always a fucking option. Some say it beats dishonor. Or better still, be honest and resign before being stupid and evil. Do somethhing good with yourself!
