Trump pretends there were no guns and maybe no one died or maybe only one person did. And he wants to pretend they all did come out--the people he calls "we" and sometimes "hostages", for reasons that had nothing to do with his campaign quite openly promoting "Stop the Steal" and having campaign events after the election was over. He helped the disaster that followed because it was a little violence party held in his honor. And he did feel honored. Never try and tell me he didn't.
He even has his current running mate saying he thinks Trump might have won in 2020. I want someone to ask Vance very pointedly which of the dumb things he believes in: is it the Italian servers? The Chinese thermostats? The German servers Gina Haspel nearly died to defend? Is it the bamboo ballots shipped in from China--or the ballots shipped in from North Korea? Is it the Dawn of the Dead voting by so many deceased people that no one could check it, or was it the supposed hordes of immigrants with some kind of very authentic fake ID? What incredibly stupid conspiracy theory of all the incredibly stupid conspiracy theories that flew about in 2020 does JD Vance want to swear to ascribe to? And what is his proof?
If he wants to lie so pathologically out of any one of his two pathologically lying faces, I need notes.
Of course there were guns and of course people died either on or because of 1/6. Trump told Proud Boys to stand back and stand by. His campaign arranged speeches on 1/6. He himself Tweeted that people should be there because it would be wild. He both spread word that the election was rigged and held out hope that it could be reversed. There is no more obvious beneficiary of the actions of the deeply persuaded dipshits who showed up and showed out that day than one Donald J. Trump.
Maybe we won't get the 1/6 trial we want, but Judge Chutkan is making sure we will see the evidence. To my mind, still reeling to this day from images of a Confederate flag carried in the Capitol building and the sight of an American flag being lowered and replaced by a Trump flag was all the disgust I ever needed at MAGA calling themselves patriots ever again. The disgusting falsity of it! The worship of a horrible man over their own country rubbed in our faces?

Outstanding, right? Because this means he doesn't understand that Putin invaded Ukraine before Zelenskyy was even elected, and that Trump was able to delay military aid to Ukraine to defend itself because he has no idea what was going on (apparently) during his own Administration. And this sounds so like TrumpWorld.
I hate to fuck with it--maybe, and really take this to heart, Trump never understood what was really going on, listened to whatever googly-eyed hack was in the room (like googly-eyed goon Kash Patel for example) and signed off because of vibes and why bother knowing things? He was impeached because he didn't understand Ukraine was already being invaded by Putin because he is, again, a Putin dick-rider. And dumb as lumpless tapioca. A smoothbrains for the ages. I do not know why there isn't more open discussion of this dictator-loving Trussy.

Is it because the technical term for the relations he wants to say never happened is actually rape? Because he has been adjudicated to be a rapist before and the over two dozen stories about this friend of Jeffrey Epstein and Sean Combs are pretty stark.
And don't get me started on the potential irony if he was "wiretapping" Dems, or that folks like Steve Bannon were witness to what we always knew--the Hunter Biden laptop being some kind of shenanigans. So anyway, what do I make of $DJT stock suddenly coming up hard and Trump's Polymarket pretend poll? This is rich reichwingers putting their biggie ol' thumbs on the scales and I would pay them no mind but I feel like they support Trump for illicit reasons so I actually also do mind.
And also too, Generals Milley and Mattis think Trump sucks and will use Woodward to say so because WTF you guys, use your whole chest! Can't you be at least as brave as a porn star?
OK anyway--there is nothing lately that actually make Trum seem better then what he ever was before, and like how are we missing how he had soooo many classified docs found at Mar-a-Lago? He is a felon and a mess.
