Trump Just Repeats His Lies

This thing about the Choice legislation of 2014 is that Trump has been lying about it since it was passed. The entire time he was president. It's one of those things like tariffs, or the corporate tax, He remembers things wrong because he barely had anything to do with them. But he likes to tell stories that make him the main character.

Now, the thinking he's either won an election against Obama or is still in an election against Obama is possibly dementia. He has a lot of feelings about Obama.  I don't know why he isn't equally as mad at Seth Meyers for cutting his ass up a the WHCD in 2011 or Osama Bin Laden for helping Obama look competent by obligingly dying when he sent Seal Team Six on his ass. Or maybe he is scared about Biden, in more than the sort of, beat around the whole of eastern Europe for dirt and extort the Ukrainian president to fight off a Biden challenge kind of way.

After all, being president again is the best way he knows of to dismiss his legal woes.

So, to give the question my fairest answer: both? He sticks with some of his oldest and dumbest lies, but also, too, might not recall things you would obviously think he should. His brain just isn't what he thinks it should be--he who told us his memory was so perfect. Then had to tell us, and certain courts, his brain can't recall everything. Maybe he has lied so much he can't remember all of his stories.
And/or he's very much losing it.

For a long time I thought he was taking a page from mob lore and faking it, now I'm not so sure. I've been around a bunch of drunks and more than a couple demented, there's a line and he seems to have crossed it: from saying off-the-wall shit for the sake of saying it and the rise out of the crowd to deflective, almost programmed responses with a look in his eye like black holes in the sky. British methamphetamine is never-the-less methamphetamine, this looks a lot like meth-psychosis which looks a lot like the onset of dementia. I've seen it happen to addicts in their fifties, that he's almost eighty is testament to something

Could be all of the above: he's been faking it, now he's not ...

I was thinking for a while he might be thinking of using a kind of insanity defense as a worst case scenario for leniency if any of his various felony beefs went south, but...yeah, it looks bad.
