TWGB: Trump--Target and Bullseye

Trump hustled to let us know he got his letter on Suday, right after he did his little thing at TPUSA whatever, and he was so mad you guys. He knows this means an indictment (or several more) for him is likely imminent

Is he really surprised? I mean, do you concoct a whole "Stop the Steal" thing when your own Attorney General and two firms you hired to look into the voter fraud thing all say you lost, and think no one will notice you were lying?

Trump's statement was extra-special:

It's a litany of presumed wrongs heaped upon his noble brow--feh. It's a bunch of stuff he's also fucked up with. He's pointing out the many, many scandals imputed to him--do you really want to bet they are all hoaxes? If you really know Trump--would you put good money on ANY OF THEM being hoaxes?

Look, given the Mar-A-Lago documents scandal, which is dumb as hell because he could have just given over what the National Archives asked for and no one would have said anything more, but OH HELL NO THAT'S NOT HOW TRUMP ROLLS, he played around. He FA and is big mad he has to FO about it. And he lost his election and knew it, and FA about that, and is now big mad he has to FO about that, too.

And speaking of his crapper docs, there was news just now the White House got lent Israeli antiquities that somehow, and don't ask me how, got "stranded" at Mar-A-Lago. That's a funny word for "stolen".  Look, they should have checked out whether their definition of "lent" and Trump's definition were the same. As if Trump ever gives things back. There's also news of Trump thinking that his beautiful big wall could accommodate cows needing to be watered in the Rio Grande by way of...ladders

Do I believe these things? Look, from the man who would steal classified docs and an election, and thought nuking hurricanes, vacuuming forests, buying Greenland, and windmill cancer are all plausible things, yes. The Republicans currently existing are in support of a man who is both appallingly corrupt but also, almost amusingly stupid. Except this is the real world where people live, and being stupid as hell is not an amusing feature in a world leader!

So, look at who supported this mess--these 16 "fake electors" in Michigan. The youngest person is 55 and they are all liable to see many years in prison if sentenced. That means these people weren't just making a protest vote they never thought would be cast--they tried to make their fake vote, for a man who lost, real. A very corrupt, very stupid man.

And this happened in other states, too. Fealty, to the point of criminality, forgery and fraud on his behalf. No different from the 1/6 insurrectionists in their lawless wrongness, just less violent.

The Republicans can pretend they are mad about the target letter, and dismiss what it means while hyping their whistleblower(s) against Biden (Which derive from Trump's first impeachment--a real case of election interference.)  But I don't think any distraction or deflection on their part makes Trump as a target any less of a bull's eye.

Also Georgia says the Fani Willis case against his election fuckery there can go on, and ever onwards, everyone!
