Marjorie Taylor Greene Has a Future at Fox News (UPDATED)

The Tweet has context added at the bottom, that the bereaved woman that MTG is exploiting lost her sons in 2020, before Joe Biden became president. So obviously, it must have been some other president's policies that were wholly inadequate. This would be obvious to you, discerning Reader of this blog--it isn't necessarily to Marge's target audience.

She even played my favorite game, so often seen on the RNC and GOP official Twitter accounts, of pretending that border patrol encounters with migrants and seizures of smuggled drugs somehow mean that the border is not being protected. How does that even work?

It works because the target audience will hear this as "more is being seized because more is coming over", because that is what people who have been bottle-fed on "caravans" and the untouchable deadliness of fentanyl from RW scaremonger news sources expect to hear. 

Who knows if MTG even believes her own nonsense:

She seems as confused by large numbers as she is by apostrophes and history and um....current events, and? But it's also very likely she just says wildly untrue things for attention. It's possible she doesn't know any better--which makes her all the better and more sincere a propagandist. 

Knowing better could spoil the delivery. In any event, she's a poisonous viper with no business in congress. 

UPDATE: Also yesterday, when she was definitely in needy look-at-me mode, she went on Fox to continue to tout her "national divorce" idea, saying conservatives needed a safe space. Snowflakes! But honestly, what she means is, people like herself want to be free to say and do whatever they want and still continue to make a less-safe space for other people (LGBT folx, religious and ethnic minorities, the poor). 

She also did some lying about voter fraud in committee, but when reached for comment by the redoubtable Daniel Dale, her spokesperson Nick Dyer (remember this name--he has a brilliant GOP future) resorted to profanity. They don't care about the truth. Greene is there for disinfo and shit-stirring. Nice people.
