We will not surrender. We will not appease. We will buy more guns than ever. We will use them for sport and lawful self-defense more than ever. We will grow the NRA more than ever. And we will be prouder than ever to be freedom-loving NRA patriots. And with your help, we will ensure that the Second Amendment remains America’s First Freedom.Because the only thing that saves your ass in the near post-apocalypse is your teddy bear and your guns. And you may find yourself fresh out of teddy bears, Sonny. So you better go and buy yourself some guns. That's some mighty fine selling of man-killing hardware, Wayne! But what else do you have?
We will Stand And Fight.
The president will surely grab all your guns (except he won't). Surely you must buy all the guns now. Also--what's up with Obama not specifically citing "school safety" (even though he certainly mentioned Sandy Hook)? It's as if we had gun violence in all kind of places, like Fort Hood, and police stations, and at border crossings and the real problem was....
Yeah. Speaking of "marketing an anti-gun agenda"? How about how the "pro-gun agenda" is not only marketed, but our elected officials are practically bought by NRA dark money?
When LaPierre talks about the failures of regulation--he's talking about the world his organization has helped to create. They've pulled the teeth of the arms regulations and the law enforcement personnel who would enforce them. Looking back at a recent "gun scandal" that was pushed by our very own congresscritters regarding the ATF and "gunwalking"; the more I researched the issue, the more I became convinced that instead of investigating the Justice Dept, the handful of very concerned congressfolks should have considered why gun laws were so lax that no US Atty would bring a case with the evidence the overtaxed and for the past half-decade or so, temporarily-headed agency, could bring. They could have looked at themselves--and they could have looked at what is becoming the NRA's self-fulfilling prophecies of a violence-crazed culture that government is supposedly powerless to stop.
Not that I'm saying that Wayne LaPierre could stand to shut up, already, before more harm is done. No. I think he's giving valuable evidence that what we once considered a powerful gun lobby should possibly be down-graded to "doomsday cult".

Remember when these insane gun huggers got all mad that President Obama stated, factually, they "cling to their guns".
Insane Wayne is a paid DC lobbyist has been since 1977.
He's a madman who gets more money the more weapons flood our Nation.
Since when? Since the NRA bought the GOP and some of the DNC (I'm looking at you, Speaker Reid).
