At about 6 mins in, the video makes the point that the NRA has rejected background checks that would prevent domestic violence offenders from obtaining guns. As a reminder, this can have tragic consequences. But the overall point is important, too--the NRA has become an organization far more devoted to the proliferation of weapons due to the financial influence of the weapons and ammunition manufacturers--
And they just don't care what happens once those guns have been sold, so long as the guns and the ammo keep selling.

Yeah, they're pretty transparent. They want practically no limits placed on the right to own any sort of weapon. Sadly, trading in death is very profitable.
