I don't necessarily think any articles need to be, for what it's worth.
But I am in agreement. His flip-flops, his desire to take both sides of an issue so long as they represent the good side only, his running away from any of the sour or complicated issues on his resume, even at the risk of not being able to take credit for any positive thing he may have done, suggests someone very averse to conflict--
And even the grandstanding he takes regarding backing up Israel on a first strike on Iran--that's because he daren't pretend he wouldn't. I think it is wimpishness, or, as I prefer, gutlessness. This isn't a very strong candidate, and I hope his pretend occasional confidence is belied by his walkbacks and doubletalk.
It does say a lot about the GOP establishment, if there is one, that he was their guy.

He's an empty suit, there's absolutely no core to him. He truly is a simulacrum of a man... but if you squint real hard, he's got Reagan's hair. That's why the GOP has him as a putative candidate (can't wait 'til the convention, though).
