This man's public comments were already a damn disaster: let's take us to before women were voting? Some people need killing?  His household has been sued by Girl Scouts and massively screwed up daycare . He said heinous things about civil rights. And we knew he was on the downlow and sleazy but we didn't know how downlow and sleazy. 

And now we have a very good idea what this man was about, and it was calling himself a "Black Nazi" and being down with golden showers and porn regarding the trans people he would oppress or even persecute right now. I don't know much, but I know one thing, Mark Robinson isn't too diverse to the NC GOP. They are, as a popular song once had it, standing by their man. 

Rudy Giuliani Has Advice About Women

Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani is sort of an interesting surrogate for Trump because I don't actually think he does anything for Donald Trump's likeability--and especially not with any of the demographics Trump's struggling with. But he is a guy who is at home on a television news set because for some reason, his opinion regarding things like policing and national security seems to be sought out. Which gives us the opportunity to hear opinions like this:

Donald Trump should skip the next two debates unless he gets special guarantees from the moderators, former New York mayor and top Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani told reporters after the debate.

Lester Holt, the NBC News anchor who moderated the debate, should be “ashamed of himself,” Giuliani said after the debate. He said Holt was wrong to attempt to fact-check Trump on the constitutionality of stop-and-frisk and his claimed opposition to the Iraq War.

Facts are apparently Trump's kryptonite. And who brings kryptonite to a fight?--Lex Luthor, that's who. So Lester Holt is equally as bad as Lex Luthor.  Those are just the results of brain-logics. He's distributing them to you because you can't just know facts and derive conclusions from them like some sort of rational actor! You need authoritarian interlocutors to tell you what the facts even mean, right?

Could Rep. Souder have abstained from adultery?

This video is Indiana Representative Mark Souder with Tracy Jackson, the aide he was apparently "seeing."



It's about abstinence--get it? Anyway, Rep. Souder was very big on abstinence and the War on Drugs, which makes part of his prepared statement (link via TPM) strike me as a bit hollow:

Not only am I thankful for a loving family but for a loving God.

My comfort is that God is a gracious and forgiving God to those who sincerely seek his forgiveness as I do.

But I am so ashamed to have hurt those I love.
I am so sorry to have let so many friends down, people who have fought so hard for me.

The ideas we advocate are still just and right.
America will survive and thrive when anchored in those values.

Human beings, like me, will fail, but our cause is greater than individuals.

It is based upon eternal truths.

By stepping aside, my mistake cannot be used as a political football in a partisan attempt to undermine the cause for which I have labored

All of my adult life.

The cause for which he seems to have worked his whole life being using the mistakes of others as a political football? Some of these family-values people really need to spend more time thinking about their own families.

But one good thing he did was not put his wife in the teary-eyed but otherwise stoic "Stand by her man" position. I do want to give him credit for that.
