Marjorie Taylor Greene, thinks that she has revealed that there is a "Uniparty" where somehow MAGA Mike Johnson, who is going along with 2020 election denial right this very day, and who vowed to do whatever was in his power to STOP the charges and investigation against Trump, is basically Jamie Raskin in Republican drag.
OK, Marge at Large. Accept your soggy potato chip.
MTG would rather have bad attention and be considered a chaos agent, a bad Republican, and so on, than for people to not recognize her at all.
All very well and good. She is a special one of a kind snowflake in a very unique globe called the planet Earth, existing only this one time in cosmic history. She also isn't helping anyone else but mostly getting attention for herself and helping Donald Trump. Probably because she thinks Donald Trump will in turn do things for her.
Mike Johnson is not who I want to be Speaker of the House. I would take Nancy Pelosi's protege and impressive congressional strategist in his own right, Hakeem Jeffries, all day every day. over any Republican.
But MTG's deeply weird MTV, which is obviously a statement that the Republican party is in crisis in an election year, represents her own observations--right? It should be saying something trenchant about the GOP we can recognize--hm? Although the vote today was overwhelmingly against her, is it possible that she represents a group with a good point?
Uh--no, she's just an attention whore with a brain full of conspiracy theories who hasn't had the right kind of attention paid to her at the moment?
And to be really frank with you all, if she is the narcissistic beast I think she is, the next 72 hours she is going to be unbearable. (I don't think her attention span is longer than this.) I really hope she does not have handlers who throttle her genuine reactions. She will escalate because attention was not paid. But she shouldn't because she only exists as a muse of the GOP--their hysterical id made into a mascot.
I dislike her a lot, but also see her as a timebomb ticking inside the GOP tent. That part--I don't dislike.

it's funny you say that. there's been chatter and scuttlebutt that she's the one who left the bombs in front of the RNC and DNC buildings on jan 5.
And I don't put it past her! Things like the videos she has taken of herself stalking David Hogg (a kid!) and AOC, spreading conspiracy theories with a weird kind of delight, the serial adultery--she gets an endorphin rush from this kind of behavior. So, a little government intrigue and light terrorism sounds like her idea of a brain chemistry smorgasbord. All the sloppy potato chips her ego can "eat".
