Look, just take a kitchen magnet and get it wet.  It will still work. I don't know what he thinks will happen.  I don't know where this thing came from. Anyway, he thinks gas sells for $8 a gallon. He has said people need to show their ID to buy groceries. He doesn't know how things work, which is why he also says things like he was going to sell US oil and gas to Europe to pay the national debt.  He has a real problem with windmills. He just kind of thinks everyone else also does not know how things work and will also think what he is saying is great and smart. 

He still seems to not know how bills become laws or what branch of government does what or how he got indicted four times. It's very concerning.

Judge Chutkan and Jack Smith were recently swatted. It's really hard for me to reconcile going out of one's way to terrorize people to try and get one's favored candidate for office clear of a lot of very serious charges with that person also being a transparent idiot. 

You see, if you told me someone was dumb enough to want to buy Greenland from Denmark, and had people around him sycophantic enough to tell him this was a great idea, I would assume they were capable of all kinds of things. Just from the sheer lack of guardrails that someone who probably would seriously benefit from assorted babyproofing devices apparently has in his overly privileged life. A man who was friends with a pedophile for twenty years. A man who was adjudicated to be a fraud and a rapist. I would not assume, for example, that this person was chosen by God to be a force in the United States, except in the way locusts and frogs were chosen for Egypt when Moses was negotiating a huge labor severance package. 

If the penalty God wants for the US is Trump for any reason, I would protest to get us to knock whatever the hell we're doing wrong the hell off, you can bet on that. Because Trump would like the US to fail just to make us love him more. 

For the benefit of the Biblically-minded, Trump is a baby-splitter. When King Solomon wanted to decide which of two women with claims on a living child were the real mother, he sided with the one who did not want the child cut in half. This isn't because presenting the option of cutting a child in half is a reliable DNA test, it's because the person who wants to cut a child in half is insane. Trump would rather see the nation badly divided, economically broken, in a civil war, than have himself out of the picture. 

Biden told us that Trump does everything only for himself, and it is very obvious. And people who do things for Trump don't care about the well-being of our country--that too, is very obvious. They think that fear is better than the truth. They think violence is an expression of power, instead of a last resort. 

And they probably know Trump is guilty, the way he knows he will be found guilty. Why else is he so fixated on various weak claims of executive immunity? Because executive immunity, like love, supposedly means never having to say you're sorry. They want the people who judge Trump to be forced by threats to let him off the hook, because the facts never would. 

Let me repeat that: the facts never would. 

But being responsible, being a leader, means always having to acknowledge accountability, just like love means honoring the person you love and always wanting to not see them hurt and being fucking deeply sorry when you can't be the person you need to be for them. The way Trump isn't the person this country needs. And he's too invested in being above the law to care what he's doing to this country. And also too dumb. 

Or how was it President Biden put it? He's a loser.
