I don't intend this post to diagnose or anything, but when someone goes around making displays of senseless dead tree violence and serious bio embellishment, there's something wrong with that young man's head, and he should get that looked at. But if he does not, it behooves all of us to keep an eye on him.

So, which is worse? Disrespecting the veterans by not paying attention? Or if he was paying attention, handling a firearm without paying attention?

I doubt he was paying attention to the veterans--he looks very involved in his gun-polishing activity, but also, I think he did that not because he was distracted, but to be *seen* doing it. I can't conceive of why he'd be so contemptible or who that display was for, but there he is.
