How Can a Man Seem Less R@pe-y?

You know this is an old joke--it was used by Rodney Dangerfield in "Back to School": "How do you seem slimmer?  Hang out with fat people!"

Well, how does Trump, of the problematic penis, seem less like an adjudicated rapist who needs to give E. Jean Carroll her money and whose hush money trial sentencing has been set back in light of his election win, seem less like a problematic human? Surround himself with rapey people, I guess. Normalize the shit out of predation.

The would-be protector is actually an obvious predator. It really does seem like there are more pictures of Trunp with Jeffrey Epstein than there are with his kids, but as an added bonus, there are pics of Trump with Epstein and his kids

Why is that? Why does this picture bother me the way it does? Maybe because later Trump introduced his daughter to the world of modeling? And Trump's connection to modeling is also very sketchy?  As is, most definitely, his connection to beauty pageants? And his feelings about his daughter's little friends, their sex tapes later on?

Even one of Trump's female picks for a cabinet position, Linda McMahon, is embroiled in a CSA scandal.

I get that awfulness on multiple fronts seems like a Trump strategy--be so horrific, so often, that people are supposed to become inured to it--I can't. Trump World's "okayness" about sex assault claims even including children all over the place should not normalize anything, but only hammer home that he is a freak. A being who somehow came to adulthood with no values. Abuse can't be a fucking strategy, and people who claim to be the family values party, the real conservative people--they can't make this okay--can they?

And yet they ignore the church abuse so often? The crime of SA is horrific--and the cover-ups are persistent

The people who want to cover it up for political benefit-why? What the hell is the reason for it? What in the world is gained worth betraying a person's body and soul?

So, I don't know why all this is about to be ignored by the GOP regarding confirmations, and I guess they will make it right with themselves and I can't even say for sure what higher power would check them--except if they thought there was one, they'd pause--and maybe they are more atheistic then even I am. Being ready to go ahead where I would balk, not because of my reverence of the Almighty, but that  the goddamn lives of the people betrayed matter. And where they would be if they weren't used matters. And all the bloody rest of it. Are they ever thinking of that?

To my mind, they should all hang separately in their own separate hells. They choose to hang together, and look as water-tight as a pardon from a bishop, each giving the other acceptability, following a multitude to do evil.

I'd like that our elected officials in congress had better sense than to not look deeper into the obvious moral morass. They really have to for the validity of our government. For the protection of people who would be harmed by shitty humans in high places.

Not one person's body and soul betrayal is worth anything--not all the riches in the world. It's just a heinous, heinous crime. And no one capable of it deserves leadership.
