National Security on Election Eve

I am not going to make any predictions about the election but I am going to say that this wall looks mighty fine for writing on. (I'm thinking "mene mene tekel upharsin.")

Anyway, for me, this wall stands for what this Administration has stood for: protecting Trump, no matter what is happening to everyday Americans. Trump's toadies and flacks have covered up for Trump's intemperate Tweets, lied for the sake of ego and backpedaled his foolish public statements; they've even lauded his appalling COVID-19 response.

And when Trump's words carry a threat of violence in the streets, don't worry about him. He's protected by a big beautiful wall.

Does he think about what violence and vote theft mean to democracy? Does any of this make America great?

Take a look at the wall around OUR goddamn White House. When did any President ever have to do anything of the kind? Our security and the future of this country aren't his damn first priority and never were.
