Shooting People is Generally Frowned Upon

The oddest thing about Donald Trump's confident claim that he could shoot somebody in public and probably not lose any support is that it might be true. After all, none of the outrageous things he says seem to kill him in the polls.  His personal bio hasn't put his die-hards off. And after all, Ann Coulter likes his immigration plan so much, she once said he could "perform abortions in the White House" on the strength of it. And you know, Dick Cheney shot a lawyer in the face. So given where politics stands right now, why not? It would be an enthusiastic pro-gun statement.
