I can think of a cure for "Affluenza"

There's nothing that grates on me like the idea that being privileged meant that this kid's worldview was so screwed-up that he couldn't discern right from wrong, and deserved to get a lighter sentence. If what was ailing the poor little rich boy's mindset was "affluenza", then wouldn't a dose of reality to correct his worldview have done him far more good?

The belief that wealth grants one entitlements beyond the law is something that should be nipped in the bud, before it flowers into further pathology. The results can be far-reaching when allowed to mature.  Yet our legal system puts away more broke people than it does rich folks. Interesting.
