About a (Pajama) Boy

I'm finding the goofy reaction to the ACA ad's pajama-clad poster millenial a bit much. Really--an "insufferable man-child"? I know--as if normal adults ever woke up in pajamas (even onesies) and continued to wear them while sipping hot beverages on a winter's morn, instead of doing what real Manly McMannersons' would do: rolling out of the rack wearing kevlar-lined camo to enjoy the refreshing tang of one's own recycled urine. (Hey, nothing says "respecting the purity of one's precious bodily fluids" like purifying one's own body fluids. And there's chemicals in the water these days that play havoc with the old hormones. A guy could grow moobs. Or feelings.)

I really don't get the fuss. The guy looks like he returned to his parents' house to enjoy a traditional Christmas with the family, and will probably later on help his aunt, who is too young for Medicare, get online and finally save some money on her insurance. Or remind his under-employed bro' of that other friend who totes got knocked off his fixie by that food truck, and was wiped out by the hospital bills.

What's so insufferable, there?
