More on HR 3--because where that load came from, more is bound to come.

I am amazed, somewhat, by how quickly the Tea Party "Common Sense" became the senseless misogyny and foolishness of  the extreme Right as expressed by measures such as HR 3, but I am not so amazed that I shouldn't have expected it--after all, Sharron Angle (who lost) and Rand Paul (who won) both exemplified antichoice tropes during their campaigns. Anti-choice narratives were a major part of the push-back on HCR--even though access to health care would be exceptionally meaningful to expectant mothers, and denial of health care access is a contributor to abortion.

But I digress.

I want to point to the very relevant post of Shakesvilles' Misty regarding other stupid anti-abortion legislation that is apparently in the works. These are all unacceptable. And they all need to be opposed by sensible people who recognize that women are at cause over their bodies, and have rights regarding their reproductivity. Please--inform your congressperson that HR3 is bad news, and steer that person away from other antichoice proposals. It's the right thing to do.

Oh Look, We Found GA Voter Fraud

It turns out, it was the GOP all along--or anyway, there was an election-denier who weirdly enough submitted multiple ineligible GOP ballot...
