:Be an Ally and a Friend




Recent events, like the suicides of Tyler Clementi and Seth Walsh remind us of how very serious the problem of feeling isolated, picked-on and unsupported can be for gay young people.

I want to believe most people don't actually suck, and are like the people in this ad. I think schools and workplaces should be safe from gender/orientation-based judgements. I think people should be seen for who they are and what they do, and not random perceptions drawn from stereotypes and ignorance.

I know that's a lot. But that what I hope is our future.
