Okay--I linked to Rob Miller's ActBlue Page because his post-Wilson-screw-up donation bump was pretty impressive even whien I posted, and it was only like, a bit over $20K then.
It's now over $600K. Which is directly comparable to what he had in the way of financing for his 2008 bid against Wilson. For the year. Not in a matter of a day and a bit.
That's so totally cool, and I'd like to shout out to Kossacks especially for representing, but truth be told, Mr. Miller *out-raised and out-spent* Wilson last time around and lost by a bit. So I wanted to know how Rep. Addison Graves Wilson was doing in this go-around for comparison.
He's doing like this.
I note that PACs and health care-related concerns donated over and above what individuals do. And I do not note that he's had any any particular bump in election cash donated because of his outburst, even though folks now can get this lovely t-shirt for free (out of only fifty):
Really. Well, some people just would have to bank on advertising for a person who has stood up to fight against, um, the president explaining what actually happens to be in black and white in text in the bill where anyone interested could read how it says it won't pay for people here illegally. And also, no death panels, which is another thing this dope might've had an issue with, because he thinks they are awful and might be in the bill, and they are awful and they aren't in the bill.
And he's a historic jerk because he worked for Strom Thurmond and dissed Sen Thurmond's daughter for acknowledging her own father's name, which strikes me as peculiar.
And he doesn't really know from history and Iraq and is a hothead about that, too. In the exact wrong way.
So what I'm saying is, yay, Rob Miller. Because SC deserves better.
*My bad, I think I got this info too hurriedly from a post on DU and can't substantiate it because I've now searched articles on Google that say Miller was out-raised and out-spent. Which suggests to me that with a little love we could help him out and send his 2010 campaign rocketing House-ward. And naturally, that's exactly what I'm endorsing.
