Alzheimer's Research Trust

I don't generally link to things to encourage my however seldom readers to do stuff--but should you have the resources or desire--um, there's this:

The Alzheimer's Research Trust

If you were ever thinking of donating to a worthy cause, this is certainly one. Alzheimer's is a very nasty trick for any organic disorder to play on anyone's brain--it takes away memory, and takes away peace of mind. It hurts whole families, and takes whole people, and makes them less whole. It is a home wrecker, and it mostly takes people in their golden years, where people have the most to offer, and strands their reason, shards their senses. Leaves them adrift. It's a reaper. It's a bad thing, and if anyone wants to donate a bit, scientists might figure out how to stop it. That would be good. I encourage you to do that thing if you can.

(Edit: somehow I left out the link to the good folks who inspired me to post--
