A bunch of Happy New Years--

(Triva moment, Dick Clark's New Year's Rocking Eve actually first aired in 1972. But this is a neat recap of count-downs.)

I know, I know. A lot of bloggers would be responsible, hard-working, cool bloggers, and recap the year in news or celebrity going's on, or even treat you to a Top Ten List of some kind. I could go over "Famous Dead Folks, 2007" or even, kind of an oddball fascination of mine-- "Celebrity Trainwrecks 2007". There were several. (Oh, and there would be some--if I could just bring myself not to sympathize. There but for my relative obscurity and a wee bit more common sense, goes I.) I could recap the year in movies or music, if I could be arsed to see more than three movies a year and liked current music (I saw "National Treasure: Book of Secrets"--I liked it. It was a little more "history-geeky" than "adventure-y"--and that's how I like things.)

So the above is some balls dropping. Ahem. I'd do better, but I'm an underacheiver, and a little bourbonificated.)
