Benazir Bhutto, assassinated
`I know that I am a symbol of what the so-called Jihadists, Taliban and al-Qaeda, most fear. I am a female political leader fighting to bring modernity, communication, education and technology to Pakistan.'

She was attractive, charasmatic, imperfect, and in many ways a contradiction--she was also a woman who led an Islamic nation and, despite being aware of the risks , returned from exile, where she could have lived well enough, to try to do something for the stability of her country. It will be said she was made a martyr --but it was worth it, to her, to do something. I admire that.
