There's a Tweet going around about the above two that one knows he's going to hell and the other doesn't, but that isn't it. If Marco Rubio thought he was going to hell for being here--would he be here? He's just mad he doesn't have a bigger part in the betrayal. But why fret? The coins are transferred, the kiss has been placed, the offering of rare earth minerals has been set. The body of Ukraine. The heroes have already given so much blood. And now, the martyrdom.
Rubio will play his part. The cock hasn't crowed three times, yet. But the US has retracted intelligence and aid. And the weapons they have, have been low-jacked. Leaving the Ukrainian people, who until now have been our allies, tasting gall.
Who is going to want to buy American when we are willing to disable arms we’ve provided mid battle? https://t.co/EkoiU4WFG6

Zelenskyy was made a scapegoat for something the Trump Administration was always about to do. Marco Rubio is their fig leaf of respectability, and he isn't saying jack shit. Has he washed his hands?
Nope.
Would they come clean? Also no.
Is this comparison overwrought?
No, because this is isn't about one person surrendering willingly for others/our sins but many hundreds, or more, unwillingly, through our great sin of obedience to unchecked power. If you are to ask, what should I do? instead of what can I do? You have already missed the problem of volition: you have to want to do the right thing in the first place. Your orders to do the right thing aren't received. Your options start from you, exercising the conscience you have, wanting to do the right thing.
Just a little sermon. For people who hopefully have ears to hear and eyes to see. It is never too late until it is. But keep in mind, we already know who Trump serves.
