TWGB: All the Bad Guys

It is fitting that convicted felon Trump chose to once again advise us that he was colluding with Russia just as we hear President Biden make a very clear statement regarding Trump: "All the bad guys are rooting for Trump, man." Putin is a bad guy who has taken a prisoner--effectively a hostage. He's a terrorist. And Trump says, basically, that his terrorist friend will release the hostage if he wins the election.

Imagine that kind of friendship. "My hostage is your hostage." It sounds like...Trump is a goddamn terrorist too. A hostage taker.

This is something people need to understand about Trump--in fact, it's something that our foreign allies already do. David Rothkopf, writing for The New Republic, describes the fear of a Trump presidency folks in the former eastern bloc countries experience, knowing he's willing to bargain away their freedom. McKay Coppins in the Atlantic reports in a similar vein: allies are worried that we do not appreciate the threat of a transactional and authoritarian leader inimical to the concept of democracy.

There are people out there who view Trump's supposed "outlaw" image as a good thing, weighing him as a protagonist in the vein of Walter White or Tony Soprano. These are Trump's true kindred--goons. They don't appreciate what art is really saying, anyway. They think Gatsby is great. They fail to grasp he is the main character--but not, in any respect, a good guy. He doesn't do anything for a higher purpose, and never, ever has. Just as he disparaged the US intelligence community in Helsinki, and he and his followers are threatening to defund actual "law and order" in the form if the FBI and DOJ in a fit of pique over Trump's own accountability--he puts himself first.

So, drug traffickers and human traffickers and foreign agents get a holiday--because the GOP would rather a thousand or so criminals go free so long as they don't touch a sticky lacquered hair on Trump's big old pumpkin head?

Uh--yes, apparently? That should be abhorrent to an actual conservative, but in the Bizarro TrumpWorld, the bad guys are...good?

Consider Moscow Marge leading the charge to--defund NATO? Does she mean "withdraw"? Consider MTG, a rabid Trump Qanon crazy Trump supporter--at all. She is a brute, a person of no insight, a... goon. NATO and the alliance against the authoritarianism of Russia is bad, and Putin is fine?  Here is the mentality of a person who doesn't understand America as a country of values and aspirations rather than blood and soil, any more than Trump does.

He would say he would end the war in Palestine in the ear of an MMA fighter, and then possibly negotiate away the West Bank for a high rolling donor

End the war in Palestine means referring to it as Samaria and Judea. End of story.

Why do all the bad guys love him? He's Silly Putty, infinitely manipulable, easily taking on the impression of the last bit of newsprint or comic strip he's pressed against. He stands for nothing, he'll fall for anything, he'll send love letters to Lil' Rocket Man or support hostage takers and journalist murderers--he stood with MBS regarding journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The purpose of the TrumpWorld Grab-bags has been to illustrate a point: There is fuckery afoot. My conclusion after all this time has been--this man was supported by Russia (and other malefactor nations along the way see Epoch Times and other fake news for Trump) from the jump and is eternally conflicted by his own self-interest. The question for his supporters--knowing he is supported by people who DO NOT want to see America be great, how can you support him? Because they are betting on him destroying this country.

And he would tear down every structure that gatekeeps and protects us from that foreign fuckery. He would turn our watchdogs against our own country in his vindictiveness.

Knowing he is supported by all the bad guys--how can anyone else also support him, without also being on the side of what is morally and politically wrong? He has no upside. His supposed good qualities are all a lie. He is always for himself first.

He told us recently he was often asked how he put on his pants--the answer is he screws himself into them like a lightbulb because he is as twisted as twisted can be. Don't get who he is twisted yourself.
