I'm so old I remember when Mike Lee wasn't gonna support Trump, but there has been a whole lot of water under that bridge between 2016 and now, including Mike Lee helping with the fake electors plot, but why even go there? Senator Mike Lee has endorsed Donald Trump. Wholeheartedly. Why is that?

Wait a minute--lawlessness? Let me check this out--the former president who wants the Supreme Court to decide he had infinite hall pass on crimes while president is the remedy to lawlessness? The guy who said he wants the economy to fail while Biden is in office because it helps his election puts America first?
The rapist, racist business fraud, who took classified documents and incited a riot on 1/6--is supposed to be the not-chaos guy? Prithee, how, sway?
Although, how is that any different from what Gov. Chris Sununu has said? He would support Trump as the nominee even if he's convicted of crimes. Because even Trump--proven criminal, but a Republican, is better than a Democrat of any kind whatsoever.
So, it looks like we're still under the Claremont Flight 93 election frame, which is why the idiots on 1/6 "stormed the cockpit" of the Capitol on 1/6 to try and prevent Amtrak Joe Biden, who has since steadily and quietly built a great economy from Trump's ashes, and hasn't, actually, gone out of his way to interfere in Trump's various legal woes, from taking his rightfully elected office because, um. They were big mad. Something something antifa, something, something, commies.
This is what happens when an entire political party is trained on positive feedback. They've literally devolved to where their obviously corrupt pussy-grabbing Russia influenced and open emoluments chasing constant fuckup is the guy they want, because? Right wing media, the assorted grifters and snake-handlers, and Banjo Bob from Shithouse Falls says so?
They have long passed the time for choosing and have openly become a handbasket to hell of deplorables. The party is in denial that Trump is a grifter and a conman, and that he has elevated other cons and grifters, and sanctioned political violence. Take Roger Stone, recently discovered to have on tape endorsed the murder of sitting congressmen. Trump, who pardoned that guy, and also Steve Bannon, who stole money from MAGAS with his We Build the Wall fraud and was arrested on Guo Wengui's yacht. You know, the Chinese billionaire bankrupt whose apartment combusted when he was arrested and has Don Jr. named among the defendants in his bankruptcy.
Sure. Nothing fucking dodgy and everything ship-shape and aboveboard in ALL OF THAT! No matter how many assorted lawyers in Trump's orbit get sanctioned or disbarred. No matter how many indictments are handed out. The troubles Trump brings on himself with his own belligerent mouth--not on Twitter, which he hasn't been a fixture of for years, but even in a court setting. No matter how often Trump's little fan club think they can get away with threatening people with bombs or kidnapping or who knows what.
And don't get me started on Flynn and 5 GW. The whole weird psyop thing there makes me feel like I am taking crazy pills whenever I look at it.
Anyone who hasn't noticed that TrumpWorld is a crime syndicate/cult is just not tracking with reality. That seems to include Meathead Mike Lee. Or maybe he is tracking reality, and thinks Trump will get into office and make him a Supreme Court Justice someday. Which is also not tracking reality, but it does come to mind, and this is how I get my laughs in this fucked-up world.
Good luck storming the cockpit, Meathead. Unfortunately, the pilot (Joe MFing Biden) is experienced and actually regularly getting us where we need to go so, you know. Fascism relies on a kind of showmanship for propaganda, and a person like Trump is found to be cruel and entertaining by his kind of fans. They want to see what next horrible thing he does--the voting people who haven't quite sorted out that he's doing this in the real world, where the other people he's going to do things to are also real.
They want Trump--the mascot. Trump the real person, is a disaster. And he makes other real people into disasters as well, because whatever is good in them is co-opted into his drama.
