TWGB: The Argument for a Speedy Trial

A few notable figures in the Fulton County case have requested a speedy trial--Ken Cheseboro (whose request for a speedy trial might have sent pangs through the legal teams of several of the other indicted individuals) and Sidney Powell. There's a benefit to a speedy trial, of course. The defense can work with still-fresh evidence and make their best case for what had happened. In the case where multiple people are indicted at once, it severs their trial from the rest--that's definitely a great idea in the case where one is providing evidence that others have more culpability for wrongful events--right?

It's a right of the accused under the Constitution. And one of Donald Trump's crack team of legal experts--the finest his political donors can pay for so far--has explained on television why even Donald Trump should think about going to trial as soon as possible:

He's very smart and has access to all the facts as well as anyone ever could! He doesn't need to be prepped! (He's incredibly intelligent as well as virile and good-looking, easily 6'3" AND A HALF if you add charisma! Like a 165 IQ. Easily.)

Well. Exactly. The idea that Trump should have any of his trials delayed suggests that he does not think he would be vindicated by his day in court, and that's clearly unpossible! If Trump thought he would not have an easy time of it in court, how would we square this away with his vocal attestations that he has done nothing wrong? It would seem like his most KILLER move--the baller to end all baller shots, would be to go to court for all his various indictments, and make the juries in question recognize that he's right, the indictments are WRONG! straight away and stomp off to a 2024 electoral victory just as exonerated as exonerated could be.

He could take the stand because of his outstanding command of all the facts and do that, you know. What, like it's hard? Because they are not going to be able to bring up texts or emails from Mark Meadows or anyone like that and suddenly discover he was actually trying to president his way through a coup by directing people to be fake electors or anything of the sort--right?

So I mean March 4 of next year? Pshaw! He could go in October. He could go on my birthday in September. Why would anyone be kicking about it

Awww, that's right. It interferes with his 2024 Presidential campaign. Isn't that what Trump keeps crying about--while also raising record amounts of funds based on his indictments? So how is that hurting him?  I mean, if he's selling swag based on his various trials, it means he doesn't think they really are interfering with his election at all, and I think he's even said they are helping him. Unifying his support. Rallying his Marks and Shills--well maybe he didn't say that part out loud.

But if you think his legal troubles are hurting his campaign in terms of all the money going to legal fees, tell you what! Wouldn't it save money to NOT delay anything and just have the trial sooner so all the money doesn't go to legal fees and once Trump is good and exonerated, he makes that final victory lap in November 2024?

Wouldn't that be sweet, MAGAs? After all, since he's being indicted for you, and wants to put on a show about how he really won in 2020 and now has the evidence, wouldn't it make more sense from an electoral POV to put that case on SOONEST! After all, it dispenses with both the 2024 election INTERFERENCE and the remains of the 2020 VOTER FRAUD plot that made that election STOLLEN! (Which is exactly how a man with a roomered 165 IQ spells "stolen.")

Although if any Trump fans can think of a brilliant reason Trump is "Biden his time" I would LOVE to hear about it!
