I know he's just having an issue with the Secret Service regulations in part determined after the assassination of his own father, and I stand in recognition that some candidates, like Barack Obama, absolutely needed early Secret Service coverage. I don't know why Bob thinks he needs it. Is he a serious candidate yet? Is he subject to unique threats? But it's the funny old 14-days and the 88-days that throws me.Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me.

Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days. After 88-days of no response and after several…
In my part of the internets, we notice patterns like signifying numerology. Is it really 14 days since any old thing, and 88 days of no response? Or did some media idiot new hire think this was cute and no one would notice? Was it funny to some dumbass with their fingers on RFK Jr's socials to think flirting with 1488 was cool? Because that wins you exactly zero votes in a Democratic primary. And if RFK Jr himself is responsible for it, wow. The more fucked up thing about anti-Semitism is you.
Anyway, my take on RFK Jr and his being a whole signifying racist is he's responsible for himself, and no one else is. I wish he would take a beat and figure out how all this is wrong, but he isn' t likely to.
I don't think he started off as a bad person. How folks go this way just bothers the shit out of me.

His family is pretty fucking wealthy. If he needs armed security, he can pay for it.
Your last two grafs tail off into confusion. The questions are, do we have standards? Does Kennedy's behavior violate those standards? How are they to be enforced? No one is attempting to answer those questions, or even to raise them, but until they are answered and the answers acted upon, nothing can change.
I think the last grafs trail into confusion but to me, there's an urge to question "What the hell happened to this guy?" but it doesn't ultimately matter. Say he's trolling to get up the noses of people who chide him for Holocaust denial, say he has asshole young staffers writing his Tweets who, like DeSantis' aides, thinks Nazi imagery is funny or cute (and he has been cozied up to the Gab/Flynn/Bannon crowd, so there's that) or is an actual straight-up racist at this point in his descent to hopeless crackpottery--regardless of the analysis, the results are the same. He's a toxic person now, and I think it does violate the standards of "Don't spread hate/disinformation/suck up all the oxygen in the room to feed an ego-fire."
I don't want to psychoanalyze the guy--I want him shredded as an example to others. But whether I set standards for him, or the Democratic Party sets standards, it has no effect on a person who rejects other people's standards and inserts his own entirely shitty ones, then declares himself an iconoclast or a contrarian to demonstrate the power of exile. Narcissists find new ways to be toxic. Kick him out of the party, explain he doesn't deserve a debate, point out that he's hopelessly wrong factually and morally, and he'll reframe it as being both the victim of a terrible cancellation and also a major free speech hero that the normals are "afraid" of.
My answer: shun anyway. The biggest damaging reframing conservatives have done is bitching everything is "cancel culture." The whining about gate-keeping and political correctness and all that is just that--whining. The answer to an RFK Jr. should be snotty: facts matter. Not being a racist bilge-puddle matters. Not being in any way useful to the discourse matters.
Not the first rich narcissist asshole to come to believe every bone headed delusion. And yes, the Party should call him out but this IS the Democratic Party so I'm betting no.
