She has no idea what she is talking about.
She just doesn't. She is saying words that do not mean things when strung together in the order that she puts them. I think when people talk about complicated policies in front of her, she hears that "mwamwamwa" sound of adults talking from the Peanuts cartoons. She actually said she wants to lessen the threat of tort reform. I am not sure that is what the so-called independent grassroots Koch-backed Tea Partiers that use her as a mascot actually told her.
Also too, I don't really care much about the war on Christmas, but if you are on the side of Christmas and Palin is your spokesperson, I'm just saying, somewhere out there a reindeer is crying.
In other news, she thinks the national debt is just like slavery, but not in a racist way. I think it's really interesting that she's learned from the whole "blood libel" episode of a couple years back that appropriating the tragedy of other people to make a hyperbolic statement sounds racist, but hasn't actually absorbed why that is.
