Climate Sunday: Energy Secretary Moniz FTW

He knows how to count! Easily more than a match for RW Congresscritters at present, d'you think? I think this "consensus" question is just the dumbest. The agreement among scientists regarding anthropogenic climate change seems stronger than you would expect for--I guess what Rep. McKinley is hinting at--herd instinct? It could just be that they are all looking at the same set of facts. That could probably explain it, too.

Even more damn than the sheer number of climate scientists who opine that global warming is real is the fact that the AGW warming deniers all seem to be tobacco industry retreads.

(Embed HTML restored--there used to be a time, I'm old enough to remember, when Blogger did not eated the links I made you.)

Not to mention the odd SDI proponents, acid rain and ozone hole deniers and assorted ad men with twice-sold souls. (Just put Merchants of Doubt on my Kindle for a refresher in being pissed off about Why We Can't Have Good Things.) All of whom will swear on a stack of Bibles they are independent and never mind the nice wad of cash you see behind the curtain.
