Secretary of State Clinton regarding Family Planning
Or to put it simply--reproductive health is human health. It is important in every place where human beings are, for them to be able to chose when to start a family, and how to have a family the size they can afford, and how to protect the health of the mother and the children in that family. Funding family planning is sensible domestically and as a part of foreign aid abroad. It makes sense socially, economically, and can save lives. I am glad we have such an articulate spokesperson for this point of view in Secretary Clinton.
