Environmentalism, Islamism, Global warmism--it's all the same Satan.

This reminds me of the stupid "Resisting the Green Dragon" nonsense put out by some of the religious righties who see environmentalism and the science of global warming (also known as "things people are concerned about due to empirical observation") as inherently dangerous (to their bubble-land of non-empirical bullshit, one might suggest). It's a little strange that the spokesperson for Santorum would answer a question about whether the campaign was attacking his religion by saying "oh no, we're just attacking his theology", but I wouldn't say Santorum and by extension, his supporters, are especially subtle people.   The popularity of their candidate is in part based on conservative tribalism--he's a hippie, a com-symp, a radical, etc.  So, she went to say "tree-hugger" and it came out "Muslim". Big whoop. 

Think of all the words she didn't say....
