And she isn't afraid to use it.
Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi had indicated that there was an awful lot of information available about another former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.
He damn-near double-dog dared her to put it out there.
So she did.
Points of fact:
This is public information, anyway.
This is old dirt, anyhow, and as I've mentioned before, he works hard at disqualifying himself on a daily basis.
There is a bottom to the memory hole, and sometimes info bounces back up.
What I'm saying is, Newt Gingrich has always seemed to operate as if there was a special "Newt Gingrich exemption" to managing the world. It's generally worked for him in his public and private life, you know, except for the one ethics charge out of dozens that ended up costing him $300K and his Speaker position, or, you know, the several attempts by political reporters over the years to make sense of how Gingrich's private self is a reflection of his public self (or vice versa). But really--shouldn't he be totally over by now?
It definitely doesn't hurt the public to be reminded of just what Gingrich has been about.
