For those of you keeping track of these things, Mitt Romney won a pretty BFD endorsement from NJ Gov. Chris Christie.
In other news, I'm downwardly revising the odds on former MN Gov. Pawlenty for running mate.
No, Tim, you can't even act like you still want it. Also--Obamneycare. (hearing that recycled in an attack ad could be a bit awkward.)
Also--I'm reasonably dubious about Cain's recent rise in the polls when it also seems like "Undecided" is doing pretty good. Not that there can't be an upset--I'm just saying I don't think so. His comments regarding the "Occupy" movement and Obama's "black experience" are just about at the "not ready for prime time" threshold.
Another sigh of relief for Romney--Guiliani says he's not in. Because after running so well in 2008 (not), there's just no telling what kind of threat he'd have been this year (none).
But the race is still early.
