I'm going to point my reader to Mudflats about climate.

I don't exactly have an audience, but if I did have an audience, I'd want them to read this post, because it provides a really great analogy of how climate change science works and is being, really, falsely debunked. Speculation isn't new evidence. The "old" evidence was already proven. And we already have seen the effects of climate change anywhere there were glaciers, for instance.

This polar bear out on an ice floe (see picture) is just an outlier--perhaps. So are the other pictures of polar bears in trouble, or the so-called anecdotal evidence that they are eating their young.

To me, news about glacier ice dissolving affecting the Himalayas and India--really do suggest to me that we should take the majority view of science, that there is global climate change, and that the main thrust of the climate change is via CO2 emissions that are man-made should be considered as...well, decided. I don't really think we should futz about waiting until a dumbass like Jim Inhofe is satisfied. To me, if President Obama wants to sign us up for a better Kyoto Treaty at Hopenhagen, I am totally copacetic with that.
