I sometimes do devious things--

I think this is probably like a blog confession, after a manner of speaking. Sometimes, I finagle the Netflix queue. Maybe I decide I really need to rewatch Watchmen. Or maybe I realize Crank 2 is now available, and I need to see it at once. I share it, nominally speaking, with my spouse, but he doesn't recall the order of our movies in queue. And he puts things in there at random.

I decide I need to see The International. I'm responsible for the Jean Reno festival we had for awhile. The 2:1 ratio of ass-kicking to comedy is generally maintained by my foresight. But I am not totally dismissive of my husband's pics. I only sort them, not eliminate them entirely, unless of course, I've already seen them on HBO a hundred times. So, a Nothing But Trouble filters its way in, but is sandwiched with some serious Rocknrolla and Children of Men type flicks. But maybe I drop a Haunted Honeymoon. I try to make up for movies I should have caught in the cinema. But I balance them with movies we saw and could see again, etc. Kind of like some entertainment director on a cruise. Sometimes I guide the experience.

Also, I don't think my husband ever does read my blog--so our secret, eh?

Also--I don't think I'm alone in doing this nefarious thing--am I?
