Now, this version is a little haunting, and you may wonder--well, it's Steve & Eydie. I just like this version. In a world where modern music can be covered for parody's sake in some other style, like polka or whatever, they kind of took it and redid in their own style, and it didn't get massacred. Their voices make it work and I recommend the CD where I first discovered this--and lots of remade Lounge songs; kind of the very reverse of this, where modern artists tackle the laid back world of Bacharach and Robert Goulet (RIP--we miss you): I recommend Lounge-A-Palooza . If you can at all get your hands on it.
